A SeaWorld penguin named Thelma has reached an incredible milestone – her 40th birthday! Thelma, a king penguin, is one of the oldest penguins in captivity. She has lived at SeaWorld San Diego since 1982 and has become a beloved member of the park’s animal family.
Thelma’s birthday celebration included a special cake made with fish and ice, and a party with her penguin friends. She also received a special gift: a new penguin pool! The new pool is designed to provide Thelma with a more comfortable and enriching environment.
